Rural Road Signs

Village Fourth
The Montecito Community Foundation provides the seed money for the community's annual Fourth of July Celebration and Parade at Manning Park.
North Jameson Walking Trail
The North Jameson Walking Trail is now open providing a safe route for all to enjoy.
The Corner Green
The Foundation purchased the land and created a park at the corner of East Valley Road and San Ysidro Road for the enjoyment of our community. This property was formerly a gas station.
San Ysidro Footpath
An appealing "safe route to school" pathway from Montecito Union School to the freeway provides families with a safe walking option.
Montecito Library and Historical Collection
Over the years, the Montecito Community Foundation has provided funding for a variety of projects to enhance our community's library and Montecito's historical collection housed in the Montecito Community Hall. These projects include purchasing furnishing
Hermosillo Road Traffic Calming Plantings
The neighbors provided funding for two landscaped islands in the center of Hermosillo Road in order to reduce the speed of traffic on the roadway. The MCF acted as the fiduciary to receive tax deductible contributions from the homeowners. The funds were then dispersed in a grant to cover expenses.
Bus Stop Enhancement Project
The Montecito Community Foundation has undertaken a bus stop enhancement project, in cooperation with the Santa Barbara Metropolitan Transit District (MTD), to upgrade each of the community's twenty-six bus stops.
